Step One: Identify a niche or gap in the market
- Remote Work Tools: With the rise of remote working, tools or platforms that facilitate better collaboration, mental health balance, or home office ergonomics might be in demand.
- Sustainable Tech Products: Items such as solar-powered tech accessories or biodegradable phone cases cater to the environmentally conscious tech user.
- Elderly-Friendly Tech: As technology continues to evolve rapidly, there's a potential market in making tech more accessible and user-friendly for the elderly.
- Localized Delivery Services: Given the global disruptions in delivery and supply chains, a platform that connects local artisans or producers directly with consumers might fill a gap.
- VR Fitness: With both VR and home fitness booming, a combined approach could offer unique workout experiences.
- Educational Kits for Kids: Parents are looking for innovative ways to keep their kids learning and entertained, especially with the challenges of remote schooling. Kits that provide both could be popular.
I chose sustainable tech products, elder-friendly tech, and educational kits for kids because they all seem like the easiest to dropship as well as for the following reasons:
- Eco friendly tech seems like an obvious large choice of sustainable tech products to choose from.
- Elder-friendly technology also seemed like a very specific niche that could yield some interesting products to deliver immediately.
- Educational kits for kids because I’m a parent and it’s all over the news that kids are struggling in school because of COVID remote learning
